AUN for Business and Economics Network (AUN-BE)

About AUN-BE

AUN for Business and Economics Network has been established with the main mission to facilitate collaboration among ASEAN universities so as to strengthen education, research, and industry relevance in business and economics for the benefit of ASEAN Economic Community.

The main objectives of AUN-BE:

  • To strengthen and leverage the relationship among members in the areas of business and economics;
  • To uplift the quality level of programs in the areas of business and economics among members with a possible engagement of other ASEAN universities; and
  • To enhance the internationalization of programs in the realms of business and economics

The network establishment was established in 1999 initially based at Universitas Gadjah Mada (1999-2005). Later, the Secretariat was transferred to De La Salle University. Currently AUN-BE Secretariat is permanently based at Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

What We Do
International Week (IWeek)

International Week (IWeek) IWeek is a one week academic programme organised by Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada in collaboration with AUN-BE Network. The programme aims to raise awareness and enhance the knowledge in economics and business issues in ASEAN region under the general theme “ASEAN Business Environment”. IWeek welcomes universities students from ASEAN, Europe, and beyond to join this flagship annual activity organized at Universitas Gadjah Mada. The programme features business lectures, company visits, group discussion, excursion, and presentation. Find out more about IWeek here.

AUN-BE Annual General Meeting

AUN-BE Annual General Meeting is an annual meeting of AUN-BE Network organised by AUN-BE member universities in rotation. The Meeting provides an opportunity for member universities to share and discuss pertinent issues related to business and economics schools and education and potential collaboration including academic cooperation, collaborative research, and publications as well as sharing sessions by guest speakers from business and academic sectors.
