The Online Course on Human Rights in Southeast Asia, developed by AUN-HRE and sponsored by the ASEAN Cyber University (ACU) is now available on the ACU website for those who seek greater knowledge about Human Rights in Southeast Asia.

Since 2017, ASEAN University Network – Human Right Education (AUN-HRE), based in the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University, had been developing the Online Course on Human Rights in Southeast Asia. This course aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of human rights and peace among university students and to harmonize approach and sustainability in promoting human rights education at higher education level in ASEAN and beyond.

The course was completed in June 2019 and launched for public use. The course will also be available soon on the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies website and the AUN Secretariat website for AUN member universities and any interested universities to use as a teaching aid for lecturers.
