The Japan Foundation, Bangkok is seeking project proposals that generate new ideas and approaches on how to implement and/or experiment cultural exchange projects between Thailand and Japan in order to activate the power of the arts, people-to-people exchanges to create the space to spark comprehensive dialogue, fuel inspiration, and build lasting relationships across borders.

This program will provide grants to cover partial expenses to implement the following types of projects.
A. Cultural or academic activities concerning Japan
B. Promoting of cultural collaboration
C. People-to-People exchange
D. Promotion of Japanese language education

Eligibility and Priority:
  • This call is open to individuals of any nationality, teams and non-profit organizations (e.g. universities, research institutes and academic associations, NGO/NPOs).
  • Project site should be in Thailand or implemented via an online platform.
  • Project goals are expected to promote cultural exchange between Japan-Thailand and/or regional exchange in Asia.
