The Seminar on Internal-External Quality Assurance (SieQA) 2021 was held online on 17 March 2021. This year’s topic was “Challenges Facing Higher Education Quality Assurance in Managing Disruption: Regional Perspective.” The objective for this year’s seminar aims to share how higher education institutions (HEIs) have been responding to the COVID-19 situation. The seminar explored on the challenges HEIs have been facing, practices used to cope/adapt to the current situation, and how HEIs make use of the QA processes on the transition to online learning.

The SieQA is a seminar run by Malaysian Qualifications Agency with support of Malaysian Universities. It is an annual event first started in the year 2015. For this year’s seminar, the co-host university was Sunway University, Malaysia, with the support of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
