The 178th AUN-QA Programme Assessment and first ever deployment of the Online/Remote Site Visit concluded this week. The practices set by Universitas Andalas set the standard and act as an example for the quality of an effective Online/Remote Site Visit for AUN-QA Programme Assessments. The success of this Programme Assessment is testament to the fact that the delivery of the AUN-QA’s quality assurance services is effective despite the manner of its delivery.

Four programmes were assessed during this assessment, namely:

1. Management
2. Economics
3. Physics
4. Pharmacy

The international assessment team was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Kay Chuan and consisted of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamolwan Lueprasert, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evangeline Bautista, Prof. Dr. Raymund Sison, Prof. Dr. Aleth Dacanay, Asst. Prof. Supitcha Cheevapruk, Prof. Dr. Pham Van Tuan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sharul Tajuddin.

The assessment would not have been successful without the trust and support from Universitas Andalas as well as the cooperation of the assessor team.

The feedback gathered from this assessment will be used to improve the future operations of the AUN-QA Assessment (Online/Remote Site Visit).

In September, there will be 3 more AUN-QA Programmes assessments—at Universitas Indonesia, Chulalongkorn University and Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
