AUN-QA Overview: 246th & 258th AUN-QA Programme Assessments

246th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at National University of Laos (NUOL)

The 246th AUN-QA Programme Assessment (Online/Remote Site Visit) was held at NUOL, Laos PDR, from 14 – 18 February 2022. Two study programmes were assessed including: 

  1. Bachelor of Arts Programme in International Relations
  2. Bachelor of Political Science Programme in Governance

Established in 1996, NUOL serves as one of Laos’ leading universities with the mission to provide higher education and produce human resources that meet the country’s development in a suitable, efficient and equitable manner. As a member university of the AUN, NUOL’s successful participation in the 246th AUN-QA Programme Assessment showed the university’s commitment to the network’s mission to improve the academic standards and quality in the ASEAN region.

Prior to the 246th AUN-QA Programme Assessment, NUOL had participated in the AUN-ADB Training Workshop for CLM Countries in 2012, as well as in Tier-1 and Tier-2 Training in 2018. The university has been constantly improving and preparing well leading up to its successful participation in this AUN-QA Programme Assessment.

This was the university’s 1st AUN-QA Programme Assessment, and its 1st online/remote site visit.

258th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU)

The 258th AUN-QA Programme Assessment (Online/Remote Site Visit) was held at ADMU, the Philippines, from 7 – 11 February 2022. Three study programmes were assessed including: 

  1. Bachelor of Science in Psychology
  2. Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing
  3. Bachelor of Science in Management

ADMU is one of the leading and history-rich universities situated in the Philippines. ADMU continuously serves society on all levels through its provision of accessible and standardized higher education, creation and advancement of knowledge, cutting-edge research, as well as expansive and immersive engagement with society. As a member university of the AUN, ADMU is committed to its mission to harmonize educational standards throughout the ASEAN region and continuously improve the university’s academic standards.

This was the university’s 2nd AUN-QA Programme Assessment, and its 1st online/remote site visit.
