AUN-QA Overview: 270th, 280th & 281st Programme Assessments

270th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Cagayan State University (CSU)

  • The 270th AUN-QA Programme Assessment (Online/Remote Site Visit) was held at CSU, the Philippines, from 20 – 24 June 2022. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:
  1. Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science
  2. Bachelor of Secondary Education
  3. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  4. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • CSU is one of the premier higher education institutions in the province of Cagayan, the Philippines. Striving towards global recognition in the various academic and professional fields, including arts, agriculture, fisheries, sciences, technology and others, CSU regards higher education quality assurance as an important process towards internationalisation and quality standardisation.
  • This was the university’s 1st Programme Assessment and their 1st online/remote site visit Programme Assessment.

280th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU)

  • The 280th AUN-QA Programme Assessment (Online/Remote Site Visit) was held at TDMU, Viet Nam, from 20 – 24 June 2022. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:
  1. Bachelor of Engineering in Information System
  2. Bachelor in Accounting
  3. Bachelor in Environmental Science
  4. Bachelor in Finance and Banking
  • Established in 2009, TDMU is one of the leading public universities in Viet Nam prioritising the development of resources for higher education institutions, with particular focus on improving the academic quality of its programmes, teaching and support staff, as well as facilities. Quality assurance is an instrumental part in the university’s strides for better quality of training, academic research and community services.  
  • This was the university’s 1st Programme Assessment and their 1st online/remote site visit Programme Assessment.

281st AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya (UKWMS)

  • The 281st AUN-QA Programme Assessment (Online/Remote Site Visit) was held at UKWMS, Indonesia, from 27 June – 1 July 2022. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:
  1. English Education Study Program, Undergraduate Program
  2. Food Technology Study Program, Undergraduate Program
  3. Management Study Program, Undergraduate Program
  4. Pharmacy Study Program, Undergraduate Program
  • Founded in 1960, UKWMS is one of the oldest long-standing universities in Indonesia, located in Surabaya, the Province of East Java. The university’s hallmarks were constituted of quality culture in higher education by following good governance in learning and teaching, research and science development, as well as community empowerment. The university’s commitment to quality assurance serves as a great reflection to its commitment to constant institutional and academic quality standardisation.
  • This time was the 1st Programme Assessment and the 1st online/remote site visit Programme Assessment for UKWMS.
