To commemorate the success of Japan-ASEAN Training Course towards SDGs "Learning Japanese culture and Biodiversity from UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in Japan virtually on 11 - 15 October 2021, a promotional video by Kanazawa University has been launched to showcase the dialogue, conversation exchange and activities within the training course.

The Japan-ASEAN Training Course towards SDGs "Learning Japanese culture and Biodiversity from UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in Japan was a pioneering training course initiative by SUN/SixERS, Kanazawa University, Japan in collaboration with ASEAN University Network (AUN) and UNESCO. The programme was designed with the focus on sustainable development and biodiversity in relation to UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in Japan.

The training course offered a great learning opportunity for students from Japan and ASEAN countries who were interested in these subjects. The students also got to meet and make new friends while doing activities such as multi-synchronous lectures, coursework and assignments as well as final group projects. The feedback from the students who participated in the programme has been overwhelmingly positive.
