AUN Programme Officer;

Quality Assessment is an intricate process that requires robust guidelines and clear instructions to direct such an activity. That is why the Guide to AUN-QA Quality Assessment at Institutional Level aims to provide quality assessment systems to ensure top quality higher education in ASEAN.

The first AUN-QA Assessment at Institutional Level was conducted in January 2017 and utilized the second version of the Guide to AUN-QA Assessment at Institutional Level. This version was endorsed back in 3rd August 2016 and today we stand in 2023, with the AUN-QA team proud to announce that the Guide to AUN-QA Quality Assessment at Institutional Level Version 3.0 has been launched.

The Guide to AUN-QA Quality Assessment at Institutional Level Version 3.0 contains the latest comprehensive criterias and systems within AUN-QA institutional assessments, as well as providing all the necessary documents for carrying out one. It has been revised and reviewed by the Revision Committee and now provides an assessment system that is streamlined with simplified procedures for easier implementation. It also incorporates changes that are appropriate for what the higher education landscape has evolved towards today, such as changes in university management policies, emphasis in teaching and learning, and research focuses.
