Starting October with Variety - AUN-QA Overview: 350th, 351st, and 352nd Programme Assessments

The first half of October for 2023 features three more Programme Assessments happening in The Philippines, Viet Nam, and Thailand, all onsite. A total of 10 programmes have been assessed in the 350^th, 351^st and 352^nd Programme Assessments respectively at Far Eastern University, Tra Vinh University and Prince of Songkla University.

350^th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Far Eastern University (FEU)

The 350^th AUN-QA Programme Assessment was held onsite at FEU, The Philippines, from 3 - 5 October, 2023. Two study programmes were assessed, namely:

1. Master of Arts in Psychology
2. Bachelor of Arts in Language and Literature Studies

• FEU is under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Philippines
• Far Eastern University (FEU) was founded by Dr. Nicanor Reyes in 1928. The university began with the Institute of Accountancy that initially offered a three-year program that meets the requirements of the certified public accountant examination. Over the years, FEU has undergone massive expansion and updating of its curricula. At present, there are seven FEU schools in the country, namely: FEU Manila, FEU Institute of Technology, FEU Alabang, FEU Diliman, FEU Cavite, FEU Roosevelt, and FEU High School.

351^st AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Tra Vinh University (TVU)

The 351^st AUN-QA Programme Assessment was held onsite at TVU, Viet Nam, from 3 - 5 October, 2023. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:

1. Master of Culture Studies
2. Bachelor of Engineering in Food Technology
3. Bachelor of English Studies
4. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

• TVU is under the Ministry of Education and Training of Viet Nam
• Tra Vinh University (TVU) is a public university in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. TVU offers a multi-level, multi-disciplinary, and multi-training method model for people at all ages, particularly women, ethnic minorities and communities with special demands. TVU has applied the ISO 9001 set of criteria from 2006 up to now. Implementing a quality management system based on this international standard brings many benefits that help TVU demonstrate its ability to consistently provide quality training programs as well as enhance the satisfaction of students, companies and other related parties. Currently, TVU has 4 programs accredited by FIBAA, 5 programs accredited by AUN-QA.

352^nd AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Prince of Songkla University (PSU)

The 352^nd AUN-QA Programme Assessment was held onsite at PSU, Thailand, from 10 - 12 October, 2023. Four study programmes were assessed, namely:

1. Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Tourism Management (International Program)
2. Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Hospitality Management (International Program)
3. Master of Science Program in Research Methodology and Data Analytics
4. Bachelor of Business Administration Program

• PSU is under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand
