The 10th AUN-QA Institutional Assessment at the Technological Institute of the Philippines

Institutional Assessments (IA) is one of AUN-QA’s major returning initiatives for 2024 and AUN-QA has taken another major step towards this initiative with the 10th IA at the Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.). The vision and mission of T.I.P. is clear: Through digitalization and innovation in academic design and delivery, they aim to transform their students to achieve optimal outcomes. AUN-QA is greatly honored for the opportunity to support T.I.P. in their mission through years of past Programme Assessments and now Institutional Assessment.

  • T.I.P. conducted their first Programme Assessment (PA) with AUN-QA in February 2021
  • T.I.P. has conducted a total of 5 PAs with AUN-QA, with 3 of them being conducted onsite.

This 10th AUN-QA IA at T.I.P. from 2-5 September 2024 utilized the latest Guide to AUN-QA Quality Assessment at Institutional Level Version 3.0, ensuring that the assessment is conducted with the current streamlined and most updated framework. While fulfilling the assessment criterias in the aforementioned guide, T.I.P. also provided AUN-QA assessors with the opportunity to tour various facilities of the institution. Throughout the 4 days, the assessors met with management, staff, and graduates to discuss the overall educational ecosystem of the institution, making sure to leave no stone unturned in inspecting the entirety of T.I.P. The facilities and personnels the AUN-QA assessors visited included but were not limited to:

The Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.) is one of the country’s premier technological, engineering, and computing higher educational institutions. Established in 1962 by Engr. Demetrio A. Quirino and Dr. Teresita U. Quirino, T.I.P. currently has 25,000 graduate, undergraduate and senior high school students under its wing spread out over its campuses in Quiapo, Manila, and Cubao, Quezon City.
